Gregory Rinaldi

I am very thankful and honored for the opportunity to serve the Minoa community as a Village Trustee.  I have lived in the local community all my life and moved to Minoa 5 years ago.  I have been blessed with a happy, healthy son Gavin who is now 7 years old and is growing way too fast.  I am the president and owner of Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. and have been proud to serve the community for over 25 years.  My service to the community includes:

  • Inducted to Fayetteville-Manlius Hall of Fame
  • ULA Upstate Chapter hall of fame inductee
  • Founder & developer of all 4 Trappers restaurants (Trappers Pizza Pub, Trappers II, Stingers Pizza Pub, The Wildcat)
  • Pop Warner football coach for F-M & ES-M Eagles for a total of 7 years
  • ES-M Youth sports coach (2 years)
  • YMCA Youth basketball coach (2 years)
  • Rutgers University 1st team All-American lacrosse player

  • My Village of Minoa responsibilities include:
     Department of Public Works (including Garbage Pickup, Disposal and Recycling), Building & Grounds, Village Parks, Minoa Farms, ESM Youth Sports, Business Community.


Eric Christensen

I’m honored and thankful for the opportunity that the Village of Minoa residents have given me to serve them as a Village Trustee. In the future, I look forward to hearing any comments or suggestions that will help prosper our Village.

My wife Marlene and I have been married for 26 years and have lived in Minoa for the past 24 years at 61 Windebank Lane where we have raised our son Kyle.

I am currently a member of the New York Conference of Mayors and the Onondaga County Association of Mayors and Village Officials.

My Village of Minoa responsibilities include: Wastewater Treatment Plant / (CERF) with Trustee Champagne, Village of Minoa Historical Society, Town of Manlius Historical Society, Celebrations - All Events.


John Abbott

I am honored to serve as your Trustee. I have been a resident of Minoa for 40 years. I have been a member of the Minoa Fire Dept. since 1976 I started as a junior fireman and became an active full time fireman in 1979, until 1984. I rejoined the fire department again in 1991and served as president, vice president and a member of the Board of Directors for over 15 years. I also have chaired the Field Days, Clambakes and family picnics. I received a Bachelor's Degree from the Culinary Institute of America in 1986. Following completion of my degree I worked in Georgia and Alabama and in 1990 became the Executive Chef at CCR of Rochester, NY. In 1991 I started Abbott's Catering which I still run today. In 1999 Received Live Saving Award from Minoa Fire Dept. for saving a young man's life, 2004 - Presidential Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service from the Town of Manlius PBA, 2006 - Life Member of the Minoa Fire Department, 2010 - Honoree Minoa Fire Department for many years of service.

My Village of Minoa responsibilities include: Fire/ EMS Commissioner, Police Committee, Safety Committee, Critical Response Committee. Golden age and Library.
